The RKC and Kettlebell Juggling

Just finished up at the RKC this past weekend. Several people came up to me saying “Hey, you’re the kettlebell juggling guy aren’t you?” or something to that effect.

I said yes and offered to help them out to do some juggling themselves if they wanted. A couple people took me up on the offer.

One thing that has become clear is that in all things, and definitely in kettlebell juggling too, is that people want to get to the advanced stuff quickly.

How do you do this one flip? First show me what the basic flip with two hands looks like. If you can’t do that smoothly and easily you can’t be going on to the more advanced stuff.

Just like if you can’t properly swing a kettlebell you should be taking care of that before you even try juggling.

Kettlebell juggling is about control. Controlling the bell and getting it to go where you want it to go. If you can’t keep the handle flat when you do a flip, and it spins out of control making it tough to grab, you need to learn how to release the bell properly.

Once you can do this, you can start moving on to more advanced tricks. But not before.

Speaking of some advanced tricks here’s a video from the event. Just flowing from one exercise to another with a light bell, 16kg.

Another question I got asked was how much I practiced. The answer is a lot, but maybe not as much as you’d think. Certainly it wasn’t all day everyday. Just 20 minutes here, half an hour there over several months.

You do that and you too can be juggling like a pro.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

Kettlebell Juggling Video Contest Winners

Well, the video contest is over and we have our winners. Check out their video below.

Like I said, no excuses. You can train in the cold and snow. And you can get started kettlebell juggling with very little experience and still have some fun. Personally, I’d offer a little advice on form to help them out but what can you expect from the first time out?

Make sure you stick around until til the end of the video to watch the youngest kettlebell juggling I’ve ever seen.

On that note, if you want to get started now’s the time. There are only seven of the bonus 77 Kettlebell Juggling Workouts booklets left. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Get The Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling along with this bonus and others now.

I’ll be at the San Jose Russian Kettlebell Certification starting tomorrow and going through the weekend. Depending on how busy it is (and trust me it’s a jam-packed weekend) I’ll try to get a little video from the event.

And besides that, you know I’ll be throwing all manner of kettlebells around.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

Kettlebell Juggling in All Weather

With winter hitting the US pretty hard this year many people are writing in talking about snow is or isn’t affecting their training.

Some are waiting until it clears up and gets warmer. Others are bundling up and tossing around the iron anyway.

I live in a place where there is no snow (though I’ll be traveling through Canada next month and will be seeing lots of it). Still its been raining frequently here.

Despite the weather, wherever you live, you can still train. I’ve done it before actually while its raining but the video here shows the day after a storm. With the ground wet and muddy it can make kettlebell juggling much more difficult. And that means you have to work harder to do the same tricks.

No excuses!

John Brookfield’s Tower of Terror

One of the bonuses that comes with The Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling is an interview I did with John Brookfield. It covers a number of different things on training including, of course kettlebell juggling.

John got his start using kettlebells doing the juggling. And with no outside direction it was up to him to make up a number of moves. And creative names to go along with them.

Here is the Tower of Terror. Basically a bottoms up snatch with a flip out.

The thing is he’s doing it with a 112 lb. kettlebell and making it look like nothing. In fact, the difficulty of this move is deceptive especially when you see him go through 15 reps.

But give it a try (with a lighter weight please) and see how it goes for you.

And take a look at Brookfield’s latest training system the Battling Ropes here.

Logan Christopher

P.S. Get that interview to find out how John trains, along with tons of moves you can do including other bottoms up kettlebell juggling variations in The Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling.

Kettlebell Juggling DVD’s For Less

Well, I wasn’t thinking this was going to happen. But after much deliberation and advice given by two people I greatly respect I had to do it.

Is the price of the Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling to high?

I didn’t think so. Since I put it all together I knew there was tons of value in there.

Obviously those that already bought and have been raving about it didn’t think so either. But what about everyone else?

The problem is you might not see that value. Not immediately. Not unless you watch it.

I guess my iron balls guarantee where you have three months to get all your money back for any reason wasn’t effective enough in pacifying all fears.

In a simple effort, to get this information into more people’s hands the price had to be dropped.

$97 wasn’t a bad price. Compared to some other things I’ve spent that kind of money on. It was fair but perhaps not easy to see as an amazing deal.

That means now the price has been reduced by a third.

Only $67 for The Definitive Guide to Kettlebell Juggling.

Get yours now.

This isn’t some lame ploy to get you to buy now. This series of events actually happened. Whether you buy now or later (except probably way down the road) doesn’t really matter as the price is going to stay at $67 barring more unforeseen events.

But if you do click here now you can get started on the path of mastering the kettlebells almost immediately. And for less than ever before.

And if you order before Thursday you’ll still get access to the kettlebell juggling teleseminar I’m holding that night.

In strength,
Logan Christopher

P.S. If you’ve already bought look for the other email titled ‘Important: For Kettlebell Juggling Customers Only’ for details on how I’m making this up to you and more.
